Smoky Mountain Pizzeria Grill has been celebrating rustic, handcrafted food since it’s opening in 1992. With a casual and welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere Smoky’s has been a memorable place to gather for our local communities.
The original location in Sun Valley, Idaho began with one simple idea: to provide exceptional food, better than expected service, and affordable pricing. We pride ourselves on creating a “nourishing and memorable neighborhood experience that people love!”
We opened our first restaurant in Ketchum, Idaho, during 1992. Entrepreneurs, David and Jerry Todd started Smoky Mountain Pizza and Pasta with a simple, yet sound, premise: combine exceptional food with better than expected service and affordable pricing. The concept was a hit!
We realized the company had a tremendous future and decided to branch out into new neighborhoods. In 1995, our second location opened its doors in Eagle, Idaho. We’re proud to say that this restaurant was warmly embraced by the community and quickly became a popular gathering place.
We have continued to grow; currently there are eight locations, seven in Southern Idaho and one in Sandy, Utah. We’ve also undergone a slight name change that fits us better: Smoky Mountain Pizzeria Grill … and as we affectionately call ourselves “Smoky’s”!
All of this could not be possible without the support of the neighborhoods we serve and our dedicated team. The outstanding individuals that make up each restaurant are the true stars here. Our dedicated team that has helped lead us to success currently includes: Dan Todd, President – John Ryan, Chief Operating Officer – Tom Reding, Director of Food and Beverage, and Carolyn Rich, CPA. Together we are able to enrich the lives of others by creating nourishing and memorable neighborhood experiences that people love.
The premise, moving forward, is as simple as the original: continue to develop relationships by taking great care of each and every guest and our team.
