We will have live music on Wednesday February 22 @ 6:30pm to kick things off. Sun Valley Nordic Festival: Saturday January 28th – Sunday February 5th

Ketchum and Sun Valley for February 2012 is the place to be to celebrate Idaho’s winter sports heritage! Join us at Smokys before the Sun Valley Nordic Festival…

This is an entire week of fantastic events culminating in the world famous Boulder Mountain Tour. Clinics, races, special trail pass rates and Demos will fill the week with Nordic excitement no matter your passion, whether racing with the best or just enjoying a day on skis with the whole family.

The 2012 Induction ceremony will be at the Ski and Heritage Museum on Wednesday, February 1st, at 4:00 pm. The celebration includes live music, drinks, and a brief presentation and speech by each athlete.
Three-time Olympian Jim Galanes Meet and Greet at the Community Library. Jim Galanes was an American cross country skier who competed from 1980 to 1985.

The US National Masters Championships will be held in conjunction with the Boulder Mountain Tour in 2013. This Championship will consist of a distance race, the BMT and a 10K classic race. As a prelude to the 2013 event Sun Valley Nordic will host a 10K Classic race on Wednesday February 1 at 10 AM. The race will be run on the same course to be used the following year for the National Masters.
